The Linear security beam sender and receiver set is compatible with Linear garage door opener models LSO50, LDO33 and LDO50. The set consists of a brief wire that gets spliced into the operators existing sensor wires. Does not comprise of sensor mounting brackets.

Fixed the problem i had with my garage door. When the sun faced my doors they would not work. Repair person told me to order these to replace the ones I had and it worked...

I purchased this item from a third-party seller Open Door Discount Remotes and it arrived earlier than scheduled and in perfect condition. One of the previous beams had a green power-indicator LED that would not light up (and with no power the Red LED was also dark) so I assumed it was a dead safety beam unit. I spliced in the new set from Amazon and had the same issue. It turned out I had a faulty wire behind the drywall so I ran a new low-voltage wire from the door opener to the "failed" safety beam and it worked again. Given what I learned, I would run and splice a new wire to a "dead" unit prior to ordering a replacement set. Hopefully my experience can save someone else time and money. As for me, I now have a spare set of safety beams in the event they die on me and I'm only out about $20 - still much cheaper than a home visit from my local garage door repair shop.
