I bought two vests, both XXL, because I think we'll need to layer these over our winter clothes. They are even brighter than they appeared online, it's like extreme day-glo and I have to say I haven't seen anything this ugly since Lady Gaga's meat dress, but I didn't get these for fashion's sake. We are using these on our bicycles. I've been super worried about our visibility during the darker winter months. I guess I got spooked, because there were three fatal bicycle accidents in my area and since we ride around pretty much everyday and not always during the high sun times, these vests seemed like a valuable safety option.
The reflective strips are great at night, we went outside to test them and they were super visible, more than I thought was possible, in point of fact. The bright yellow vest will be great during the daytime, perhaps the sunny color will draw the eyes of drivers and prevent us being squashed (I almost got run over by a woman texting while driving last month!).
All in all, I love these ugly vests!
This item was slated for 2 weeks delivery and I received it in 3 days. That pleased me very much.
It is an excellent product for what i need it for and that is visibility on my motorbike at night. My wife road behind me on a stretch of the interstate and told me that she could see me no problem. I got this in combination with some 3M reflective tape and sign like a star now when anyone's headlights are on me.
