True Grip grade non-skid grit tape is an exceptional selection for most common purpose applications. The tape is constructed of a durable 46-grit mineral abrasive compound for fantastic longevity in each indoor outdoor applications. We employ the use of a solvent based acrylic adhesive system to permit for adhesion more than a wide wide variety of surfaces, though providing great water and chemical resistance. Our adhesive technique will allow for even greater initial bonding, but nevertheless removes cleanly for replacement. Custom slit widths and die-cut cleats also obtainable. Meets or exceeds OSHA 1910.24 and 1910.26.
Anti slip security grit tape delivers added traction exactly where slippery surface conditions might possibly happen on floors, steps, ramps, loading docks, and equipment. For the price you get a lot of tape here. Buying individual pieces for each step gets very expensive fast. I knew I shouldn't have to pay 5-10 bucks a stair and was glad to finally come across something that was priced like it should be instead of grossly overpriced. It was easy to apply and seems to be sticking very well after a couple of weeks. It provides great traction. I bought this to use on my basement stairs so I cannot say how well it works outside, but inside its just what the doctor ordered.
To be fair there is indeed 15' of anti slip product on the roll, but 1" of the product is used to secure the product to the cardboard roll in the middle and you cannot remove it from the roll without removing the cardboard. So that last inch will not stick to anything unless you get some glue out to glue it down, get the staple gun out to staple it down, or lose an inch of product. It is a little frustrating when you plan for 9 20" sections to cover your 9 steps and find this out after cutting the first 8.
Not the end of the world, I gave it the full 5 stars. But I bought 15' of tape not 14'11" of tape and 1 inch of anti slip surface that needs to be adhered in another fashion. Plan accordingly.

The product purchased through Amaz-on is Amaz-ing. Works well on my metal spiral steps. I stuck it on so that it also covers the rounded edge of the step. I am using the few feet leftover as sandpaper. If you stick it on your shoe you got yourself an ice shoe. By the way, the price is also unbeatable, trust me, I shopped around.
