Customer Reviews
the lens is clearer than s1933X. i use it for adjusting my circadian rhythm (refer lowbluelight.com) when i wear these i work as long as i want to at night but i pop off to sleep in 5-10 mins of hitting the bed. not sure if it is only because of these since i've gone paleo recently too so no more sinus problem keeping me up. most laptops emit uv above 320 nm and this blocks uv+visible light upto 540 nm so its good for office work, not graphics. (most screen protectors for LCDs work somewhere between 320 nm - 380nm, not entirely reliable even when they claim 99.9% uv block) i cant use it in the day time, it puts me to sleep so i've ordered clear uvex fitlogic uvextreme for daytime laptop work. i work on it 14/7/365, earlier i used to sleep with blurred vision and wake up with it too. now i go to sleep with blurred vision and wake up with 20/20. if i cut down on laptop time i should be able to have 20/20 through and through. the glasses are part of an overall healthy regime once you get into the discipline/wake up to it, which some of us do eventually.
however be cautioned these are hideous looking glasses, be prepared for a few shrieks from your family ;-)
one more point about screen filters vs. uvex glasses. i see eye floaters come up quickly with the former but not with these glasses i think that is because of some marginal uv escaping from the screen protectors because at the end of the day eyefloaters arent visible after taking off the glasses.
excellent for blocking blue light. i Bought it to normalize circadian rhythms by removing blue light after dark and it works great.
